Emmy Awards 2015: Best-Dressed Round Up

Unlike the big award shows, the Emmys are about the stars of the small screen and include a somewhat more diverse guest list (one just needs to look at the varying shapes and sizes of the Orange is the New Black cast), meaning some exciting fashion choices are expected. While the variety on show on Sunday was spectacular, for us, it was one of the more disappointing fashion lineups of the award shows in 2015.

What we did see though, is darker colours taking center stage – a move away from the nudes and whites that dominated the Globes and Oscars in the beginning of the year – with a focus on dark, heavier fabrics. The 70’s revival trend has continued to make its appearance on the Red Carpet with sequins making a big splash on the night. The bob (long, short, neat or textured) is clearly not going anywhere: it was the dominant hairstyle of the evening!
