A/W 2015 Trends

It is now becoming very clear that the autumn/winter season has set in; we believe there is no better way to start a new season than with some refreshing additions to any wardrobe – even if its something as small as a pair of earrings! 

With this in mind, and with very significant key trends from the international runways at play, we felt it would be good idea to put together a post on these fashions; specifically, we wanted to showcase how accessible the looks can be in SA and to what degree you can choose to adopt the trend. There really is something for everyone out there!

1. Fringe Benefits

Fringe is always an eye-catcher. Whether it’s on the sleeves of a leather jacket or subtly accenting the hem of a skirt, the long strands dance with every gentle breeze. The style is ideal for weekend dressing: relaxed, effortlessly cool, and incredibly fun.

2. Sports Luxe

Sports Luxe is the definition of modern, comfy and cool. Think vests, bomber jackets and wedged hi-top trainers for a wearable look with a spirit of athleticism. Stella McCartney and Alexander Wang have been pioneers of the sports luxe trend for the past few years now and it has well and truly crossed from gyms to cocktail bars. The trend is the ‘go to’ look for an effortless yet fashionable appearance.
